Frequently asked

How does Gallery Daily change my wallpaper?
It doesn't — iOS does. Apple doesn't allow apps to set the wallpaper directly, so Gallery Daily maintains a small album of artworks in your photo library and walks you through connecting iOS Photo Shuffle to that album. iOS then rotates the wallpaper daily on its own, and the app keeps the album stocked with new works.
Why does the app ask for full photo library access?
Creating and maintaining an album requires iOS's full-access permission — the more limited options don't allow album management at all. Gallery Daily only ever touches the album it creates. It never reads, uploads, or analyzes your personal photos.
The wallpaper hasn't changed today.
Open the app once — iOS limits background work for apps that haven't been opened recently. Opening Gallery Daily every week or so keeps the rotation fresh. Also confirm Photo Shuffle's frequency is set to Daily in Settings → Wallpaper.
I deleted an artwork but it's still on my lock screen.
iOS caches wallpaper imagery; a removed work can linger up to a day before the shuffle re-samples the album. This is an iOS behavior the app can't accelerate.
Can I choose lock screen only?
Yes. During setup you choose Lock screen only or Lock + Home, and the tutorial's final step adapts. (iOS doesn't offer a home-screen-only shuffle.)
